At just 22 years old, Iasmin Lucindo establishes his status as a future promise in national MMA fight after fight. This Saturday (4), at UFC Rio, against former strawweight title challenger (52 kg) Karolina Kowalkiewicz, the athlete from Ceará demonstrated maturity and won the duel with a unanimous decision from the judges.

Faster and more effective in striking, Iasmin also exploited the takedown game to overcome the Polish woman in the three rounds. With the triumph, the young woman tends to gain a place in the top 15 of the category’s ranking in its next update, since her opponent currently occupies 13th position.

The fight

After a few seconds of study on both sides, Iasmin connected a good sequence of crosses. With an offensive style, the Brazilian created danger for Karolina in the initial interactions.
