Coritiba issued an official note, this Saturday (4), after the club was accused of violence against fans who protested against the SAF, before the game against Sport, last Friday (3), at Couto Pereira, in the Série B of the Brasileirão.

Coxa fans displayed a banner in protest against Alviverde’s SAF, Treecorp Investimentos.

The demonstration was restrained by stadium security. The person who created the protest was fan Weslley Pereira. To the OneTwo Sportshe stated that his brother was attacked by security guards.

Shortly after being exposed, the banner was removed by Couto Pereira’s security guards. One of the fans who were present when the security guards arrived denounced the violent conduct of the Coritiba security team.

The club is taking all measures to correctly investigate the circumstances and clarify the facts. Finally, it repudiates any and all acts of violence that may have occurred and will take measures to prevent situations of this nature.”
