According to the TMZOn Wednesday, the 1st, a person allegedly called the police, claiming that a woman who looked like Britney was threatening hotel employees and guests. The police went to the location around 10:30 pm, but, finding no suspicions, left. Then, the singer and her boyfriend returned to their suite. According to reports, the couple got into an aggressive fight while drinking alcohol, and Britney ended up getting hurt.
The singer then left the suite, screaming in the hallway, described as “out of control” by media sources. TMZ. The guests thought she was having a mental breakdown and called paramedics to treat an “injured person”. Britney was then seen leaving the hotel, photographed with a pillow and blanket wrapped around her body, and appeared to be crying. She refused to get into the ambulance and left with her bodyguards, without her boyfriend’s company.
On her Instagram, Britney clarified her version of the facts. In a first post made on Thursday, the 2nd, the singer denied the fight and said that the TMZ broadcast false news. “Just so people know, the news is fake. I would like respect at this moment so that people understand that I am stronger every day. The truth sucks, so can someone teach me how to lie?”, wrote the singer.
She goes on to rant, then explains: “I sprained my ankle last night and the paramedics showed up at my door illegally. They never entered my suite but I felt completely persecuted. I’m moving to Boston. Peace,” she concluded. See the post:
Hours later, Britney published videos showing her swollen ankle. She says she tried to do a stunt in the hotel room and ended up hurting herself. “The paramedics turned up and caused a huge scene, which was very unnecessary. I just needed ice,” she says in one of them, with a tearful tone of voice. In the caption, she wrote: “I know my mom was involved. I haven’t spoken to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened, before the news came out. It was a setup, just like she did a long time ago. I wish I had grandparents. I can’t stand her. I honestly don’t care, I’m saying that.”
