The family will be back for the last time in ‘Fast and Furious 11‘, which is already scheduled for release.
The director Louis Leterrierwho directed the tenth film, revealed to Collider that the film hits theaters in September 2026.
“Is happening. It’s happening very, very soon. I’m going to film a little horror movie this summer. I’m finishing my horror film on September 15th and starting Fast on September 16th. The premiere takes place in 2026”, he revealed.
On your Instagram profile, Vin Diesel teased fans of the saga by sharing exciting news about the next film.
In the caption, he said the following:
“I just finished our weekend meeting with the writers and the entire team from ‘Fast and furious‘…To say that the excitement for our finale was incredibly powerful is an understatement. “Wow. It’s so exciting… As everyone was heading into the weekend excited, I thought of you all [os fãs]… I was reminded of the countless moments when your enthusiasm and passion became the driving force behind our creative journey. Your commitment to our saga has had a unique impact on our success and evolution… As my youngest daughter would say, it is profound. Thank you for being the backbone of this global saga that, because of you, transcends the screen. This grand finale is not just an ending; It’s a celebration of the incredible family we’ve built together. I hope to make you proud!”
‘Fast and Furious 10‘ has already been released in the national catalog of the streaming service Prime Video.
In the plot, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family must face the most lethal adversary they have ever encountered. Fueled by revenge, a terrifying threat emerges from the shadows of the past to destroy Dom’s world and everyone he loves.
It is worth remembering that, despite having collected US$706.4 million worldwide – which represents the fifth highest box office of 2023 –, the film reached only 56% approval rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.
