Screenwriter recommends HQ as “homework” for next episode of X-Men ’97

Beau DeMayo, the main writer of X-Men ’97, once again gave “homework” to fans, indicating a comic to be read before the next episode of the animation.

On your official profile on X (formerly Twitter), DeMayo shared a cover of the comic Uncanny X-Men #304originally published in 1993, the third chapter of the important arc “Fatal Attractions”.

The comic marks a major turning point for Erik LensherrO Magnetowho comes to believe that humanity is doomed no matter what he does, and returns to wearing his old helmet, once again becoming the ruthless villain that the X-Men first encountered many years earlier.

X-Men ’97 continues into the final stretch of its 1st season on Disney+, while airing its episodes weekly, on Wednesdays.
