Rio – Cariocas will face another week of intense heat and lack of rain in the city. According to the Rio Alert System, until Wednesday (8) the weather will remain stable, with weak to moderate winds.

Also this Sunday (5), a high pressure system operates in the city and causes stable and high temperatures. Throughout the day, the sky should vary between clear and partly cloudy. Thermometers will be between 20°C and 37°C.

In the morning, locals and tourists enjoyed the heat on Copacabana beach, still in the mood for a Madonna show. Some fans chose to prolong the experience and ignore their fatigue, while others used the sand as a bed to rest.

Forecast for the week

Between Monday (06) and Wednesday (08) the weather will remain stable, with few clouds in the sky and still no rain in the city. Winds will be weak to moderate and temperatures will remain high throughout the period.

The maximum predicted for this second (6) is 35°C and the minimum is 18°C. On Tuesday (7) thermometers should vary between 36°C and 19°C and on Wednesday (8) between 37°C and 20°C.

On Thursday (9) there is a forecast of a gradual increase in cloudiness, with a predominance of partially cloudy skies, but there is still a forecast of rain. Winds will be light to moderate. The maximum should be 37°C and the minimum 21°C.
