A 31-year-old woman called the Military Police this Saturday (4) after her house was broken into and R$400 was stolen in Jatiúca, in Maceió. She told the police that the crime was committed by two men, one of them being her boyfriend, who even called her “fat, dirty and ugly”. The suspects were arrested hours later drinking beer on the beach.

Military personnel from the 1st PM Battalion, who responded to the incident, reported that the victim’s house was ransacked, with broken objects. A witness took a photo of the invaders and shared it with the police.

After searching, the military found the duo in Marco dos Corais, in Ponta Verde, who had already used part of the stolen money to buy alcoholic drinks. During the search, only R$310 was found.

The men were arrested and taken to the Central de Flagrantes, where they were charged with theft and insulting dignity.
