Default continues to fall in Acre, but is 0.67% higher than the national average – ac24horas.com

Defaults in Brazil grew for the second consecutive month, according to data updated until March. The increase is 1.19% compared to the previous month, which corresponds to an increase of 855 thousand in the number of defaulting consumers.

In Acre, in the period, default affected 43.66% of the adult population. In the previous month, it was 43.67%. Thus, there was a small reduction in the comparison between February and March. However, when Acre’s result is compared to the national average, there are at least 0.64% more debtors in the State.

The data comes from the Default and Debt Renegotiation Map, from Serasa. In general, Brazilians aged between 41 and 60 represent the largest share of the population with a restricted name, at 35.1%. Next are the age groups from 26 to 40 years old (34.1%), over 60 years old (18.9%) and young people between 18 and 25 years old (11.9%).

The average value of each agreement made in January on Serasa Limpa Nome, Serasa’s debt renegotiation platform, was R$760.31. In total, more than R$11.38 billion in discounts were granted during the month.

Another 550 million offers are still available for negotiation at Serasa Limpa Nome. In total, there are more than R$874 billion in offers available.

In total, there are 72.89 million Brazilians in default in the country.
