The transportation of the donated material to the neighboring state was carried out by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu).

— Samu from Santa Catarina took this material to Passo Fundo. From there, this blood will be distributed to all regions affected by the floods. The bags will be sent by helicopter to the places that need the blood — explains the director of Mobile Pre-Hospital Care (APH), Dionísio Medeiros.

During the week, more bags of blood and blood products will continue to be sent to the neighboring state. Donations can be made at nine units of the Santa Catarina Hematology and Hemotherapy Center (Hemosc) in Santa Catarina.
