With terminal cancer, Isabel Veloso cites loss of part of her lung and talks about valuing life

Isabel Veloso, 17 years old, mentioned live that he lost part of his lung when explaining why he was panting. The influencer has End-stage Hodgkin’s lymphoma and receives palliative care, such as pain medication.

“Lucas and I are experiencing the best phase of our relationship, not because we are married or because it is the beginning of our relationship, but it is you who makes your marriage happy. I talk to Lucas every day. Just because certain people had a failed marriage doesn’t mean we’re going to have one. We take care of our marriage by looking at the small details”, she begins.

She continues: “Don’t let a fight go by. Oh, we fought, we argued and we’re not going to talk about it anymore. No, let’s talk about. This hurt me, let’s fix it, change this situation so it never happens again so we can have a happy relationship. So if we take care of small things, big things change.”

Isabel adds that they learned “to value and care”, and continues: “When you realize your lack of attention to these details and start to change these situations it seems like a snap of the fingers in our minds. I say this because nowadays I have a lot of weaknesses, I’m even a little tired, I think you can tell, right? I don’t have half of one of my lungs,” she comments.

“Before, I didn’t appreciate it, I never even stopped to think, realize, what my breathing was like with two lungs. To be honest, I don’t even remember because I never paid attention. I only started paying attention when I lost half of one of them”, she adds.

The influencer closes on the subject. “So, when you stop your automatic, these situations change a lot. Everything improves in your life, your relationship with yourself, you wake up with much more energy,” she says. Shortly afterwards, she receives oxygen and continues with the interview.

Diagnosis

Influencer Isabel Veloso, aged 17, reported on the day March 1st this year who is facing terminal cancer and has only 6 months to live. According to the woman from Paraná, she has Hodgkin’s lymphoma and lives with a tumor that surrounds his heart.

Years ago, Isabel was diagnosed with the disease, underwent a bone marrow transplant, in addition to chemotherapy. She even reported that she had been cured, but the disease returned.

Before getting married on April 13th, the teenager displayed a medical report to prove her health status to her millions of followers. The young woman was accused of pretending to be sick to raise funds for the ceremony.

The document highlights that the teenager has “Hodgkin’s lymphoma unresponsive to chemotherapy treatment” and that she undergoes “exclusive palliative care”.

Just last month, Isabel told be receiving palliative care with cannabidiol (CBD), a chemical substance from the Cannabis sativa plant. The information came at a time when she said she was able to “walk better”, climb stairs, without feeling so much pain. However, since the weekend, the influencer has faced difficult times due to pain.
