The fortune of North American singer Madonna is valued at US$580 million to US$680 million (from R$3 billion to R$3.5 billion, at current prices), according to surveys by Forbes and from billboard.
In June 2023, the music magazine made the calculation counting 60 shows from the most recent tour, Celebration Tour. The singer will close the round of shows at the 81st show, which will be held this Saturday (May 4, 2024) in Rio de Janeiro.
According to billboard, Madonna’s wealth was mainly the result of her music, unlike other artists who also profit from advertising or other areas, such as acting. As far as is known, the singer’s most financially successful tour was “Sticky & Sweet”, which took place from 2008 to 2009.
With 85 shows, the shows raised more than US$400 million and sold 3.5 million tickets. In 2023, it was listed by Forbes as the 45th woman self made of the richest United States.
Now, with the performance in Copacabana, the singer will receive another R$17 million. A Forbes estimates that Madonna should increase her fortune by US$100 million by the end of the Celebration Tour.
Historically, Madonna has raised more than US$1.4 billion from her tours over her 40-year career, having sold around 12 million tickets for 575 shows.
