It’s not long before Madonna’s show on Copacabana beach, in the South Zone of Rio, this Saturday, the 4th. With the beach already packed with anticipation for the pop star, the looks in the city are already similar to Cininha’s, in “A trip”. Did not understand? A scene of Nair Bello, the guesthouse owner’s interpreter, arriving in the village with a bag of bread and a t-shirt with the owner’s face from “Like a virgin” printed on it became a classic.

“This meme became reality and Copacabana is exactly like this,” wrote a user on X, formerly Twitter, when showing an excerpt from the soap opera scene. “I’ll be just like her, coming home at dawn with a bag of bread,” joked another user. “If Nair was still alive, I bet she would be wearing that t-shirt right now,” said a fan, remembering the late actress, who died in April 2007, after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Singer was in the city six times
The soap opera “The trip” is currently airing on Canal Viva. In it, Nair Bello played Cininha, a well-to-do and always fun guesthouse owner. Although the video of the scene below, which is going viral, was edited with a Madonna song, the pop star was not part of the plot’s soundtrack.
There were only four soap operas featured with Madonna’s songs chosen to set the story. They are: “Happy Ending” (1982), “The Cat Ate” (1985), “Hypertension” (1987) and “Black Pearl” (1998).
