SUV 0 km for the price of Onix, Polo and HB20? Peugeot wants to burn stock and promises to annihilate Corolla Cross, Crete and Renegade!

Peugeot went crazy, the manufacturer wants to annihilate the Toyota Corolla Cross, Hyundai Creta and Jeep Renegade! With the long-awaited arrival of a new version of the 2008 SUV on the South American market, the automaker is offering up to R$20,000 in discounts at the beginning of May to burn through the stock of its current entry-level SUV. The Peugeot 2008 SUV is being officially offered by the automaker for R$89,000, the price of a popular car such as the Fiat Argo, Volkswagen Polo, Hyundai HB20 and Chevrolet Onix hatchbacks.

It is important to mention that this promotion has a limited period until May 7th and depends on the availability of models in stock. According to the Peugeot sales portal, only 10 units were initially available. Some large cities, such as Belo Horizonte (MG) and São Paulo (SP), do not participate in this promotion, however, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), the offer is active.

At this promotional price, the buyer purchases the Allure 1.6 aspirated version, which is already equipped with automatic transmission. The offer provides a discount of R$20,000, making it possible to purchase your SUV for just R$89,000. This engine is quite common in the Peugeot line, offering a power of 113 / 120 hp (gasoline / ethanol) and torque of 15.4 / 15.6 kgfm for the respective fuels.

The Allure version comes standard with items such as fog lights, reversing camera, cruise control with speed limiter, four airbags, 7-inch multimedia, jackknife key, 16-inch wheels and electrically assisted steering.

Other versions, such as the Roadtrip, are being reduced from R$114,990 to R$99,990, depending on stocks and region. This version maintains the same mechanical configuration as the Allure, but adds equipment such as leather seats, diamond wheels, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, headlights with LED DRL, among others.

For those looking for more performance, there are offers available in versions with the 1.6 turbo engine (THP), which deliver 165 / 173 hp of power in ethanol / gasoline and 24.5 kgfm of torque for both fuels.

These configurations are being sold for R$114,990, representing a discount of R$15,000 in relation to the prices listed in the brand’s configurator. In addition to the features of the aspirated Roadtrip, this version includes a panoramic roof, black-finished wheels, a blacked-out grille and five driving modes.

More sophisticated version can be purchased for R$ 119 thousand

The most sophisticated version, Griffe, also equipped with the 1.6 turbo engine, is not listed in the direct offers. However, the brand’s configurator mentions that the model can be purchased for R$119,990, depending on the stock available at the dealership.

Let’s be honest, it’s not every day that we have the opportunity to buy a new SUV for the price of an Onix, Polo or HB20. So, now tell me what you think of this incredible Peugeot promotion.
