Individual Microentrepreneurs (MEI) gained an extension in the deadline to register in the Labor Electronic Domicile (DET) system. What is the Labor Electronic Home System?
DET is an online platform, created on the initiative of the Federal Government and managed by the Labor Inspection Secretariat (SIT) of the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE). However, the lack of registration can lead to future fines if, for example, a Labor Auditor issues a notification and there is no response within 15 days. In this case, it is assumed that the notification was received, even if the MEI was not aware of it.

The registration process is done completely online, facilitating access and compliance for micro-entrepreneurs. Initially, it is necessary to access the DET platform website, register in the Gov.br system and follow the instructions to complete the registration.
