From May 1st, you have an appointment with ‘Salvador Dalí Challenge’, which takes a dive into the mind of the greatest genius of surrealist art! The exhibition will be on display at FAAP Brazilian Art Museum and brings, under the license and supervision of the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation, more than 100 new contents in the scope of painting, literature and cinema.

Right at the beginning of the exhibition, the public is faced with the timeline of Dalí’s life. It contextualizes the artist’s history since his beginnings, such as his aptitude for painting even as a child. About that, reproductions of his paintings accompany the narrative, contextualizing his works in the time in which they were created. With innovative technology, the replicas were laser printed and faithfully reproduce the color and texture of Dalí’s originals.
Soon you can explore a reconstitution of the artist’s studiowhich recreates the environment where many of the masterpieces of surrealism were designed. Decorated with photos of Dalí and his wife Gala, this installation even has a recording of the view from the original studio window!
Furthermore, it is possible to transport yourself to Dalí’s world through the virtual reality roomlike this learn about your work outside the visual arts.
